-
Seabird rescue - on call position to respond to phone calls of injured seabirds and transport birds to local wildlife rehabilitation centers. Training provided.
-
Cleanups - help set up and breakdown for cleanups located in communities, at the beach, and inland natural areas. We hold over 30 cleanups annually. Also, help sort trash collected and record data.
-
Special needs program - provide "buddy" support during outings with our special needs group. The group meets twice a month in the community for 2 hours each time.
-
Sea turtle stake maintenance - each year we use (and reuse) over 2,000 wooden, 2 foot, garden stakes on the beach to mark off and protect sea turtle nests. We need individuals to re-paint the stakes annually so that we can use them for many years before needing to purchase new stakes.
-
Media support - looking for several individuals to help with YouTube, videography, photography, and website support.
